Mr. N was persistent.
3 times he wrote me over the last 10 days..
“Greetings George,

This is what he wrote me.
Asking me to invest my time to talk with him about generating leads for my business.
One problem.
No one speaks like that.
So how can he possibly generate leads for my business when he can’t speak better than if he shoved his foot up a donkey’s you know what..
So I didn’t respond and he followed up 5 days later
> “Hey George, just a short follow-up from my last correspondence. I can reach your target demographic and generate excellent leads for Sophiall. When can we arrange an internet meeting to discuss the plan?:”
Is it 1994 when we last spoke about “internet” meetings? Can he not use the word virtual?
Again… no chance in hell this clown can find the right leads for me..
Finally 5 days later again..(coincidence?)
Hi George, given your busy calendar, this is my concluding contact. I can focus on your niche market and secure high-quality leads for Sophiall. If increasing your customer reach is a priority, could you suggest a suitable time for an virtual meeting to delve into this further?
Hmm.. at least he used the word virtual but still has not idea how to write it properly.
In short, his lead generation to me actually sucks and he can’t follow basic grammar rules… so my no response wasn’t because of my busy calendar.. it was because he had no clue or even attempted to discover what are the issues I might need help.
Instead 3 badly written scam emails and the only benefit – inspiration for this post.
Listen, I know it’s a tough market out there and sometimes you do have to go cold… but don’t make yourself look like an A** like this guy.
Do some basic research and find out who is your best audience and what they really need.
