Tomorrow wraps up a 7-week journey with the family — from the Greek coastline to the Welsh hills.

And yeah, I lived it.

Not as a tourist.

But as someone fully in it.

John Carlton once wrote that most people sleepwalk through life like zombies. But when you’re present — really present — life becomes a sea of riches, even if you’re still digging through couch cushions to make rent.

This trip? I took that to heart.

(well not digging in cushions for coins…)

I made time count.

I made memories with my family.

I made moves in business that wouldn’t have happened if I stayed chained to a desk pretending to “grind.”

Case in point:

One of the projects I’m leading lost its sponsor unexpectedly.

Old me? Might’ve waited around or gotten lost in the weeds.

This version?

Brought in a rockstar leadership team, rewrote the strategy, and now we’re gunning to disrupt a legacy market — while building something worth real money when we exit.

I also saw the opposite:

A beachfront restaurant imploded because the owners wasted energy sabotaging the beach club next door. Pride over profits.

They burned it all down — and for what?

Here’s what all of this reminded me:

You don’t build a business to run a prison.

You build it to own your time.

To invest in what matters.

To create wealth, relationships, and experiences that actually make this life worth living.

That’s the game I’m playing.

That’s the game I’ll help others play in Q4.

Some people unsubscribe when I say this.

That’s fine.

Others?

They lean in.

If that’s you — let’s go.

P.S. I’m not the “systems guy,” “process guy,” or “finance guy.”
I’m the
“build a valuable business” guy—so you can regain the freedom to start living your best life now and exit on your own terms later.
