Dan Sullivan nailed it when he laid out the 4 Freedoms every entrepreneur is secretly chasing:
1. Time.
2. Money.
3. Relationships.
4. Purpose.
Most business owners say they want these…
But then build a machine that devours all four.
It works — but only because they keep shovelling coal into the furnace every damn day.
So let’s start with the first one:
Time.
Now, I know what you’re thinking — “Here comes the systems guy.”
Wrong.
This isn’t about workflow automation or another ops consultant.
This is about what kind of life you bought into when you chose to run a business.
Would you take on a $5M mortgage for a property — only to rent it out, hand over the deed, and get zero equity at the end?
Of course not.
So why the hell are you doing that with your time?
Time freedom isn’t sipping cocktails on a beach in Bali.
It’s being able to choose what you do, when you do it, and who you do it with — without the whole thing falling apart.
You built the business.
It should pay you back in equity and freedom.
So ask yourself:
Are you spending your hours growing your wealth, deepening your relationships, building something that lasts?
Or
Are you stuck in the weeds, hoping next quarter will magically be different?
If you don’t have control of your calendar, you don’t have a business.
You have a job…
One you can’t quit.
