So I agreed to having Mitch Martina Cleaning Company come to our house for a deep cleaning of the apartment even though they came in more expensive than the competition.
Why did I agree to pay top?
Because of what France, the person I was talking to, promised me.
“We will get the job done right. Forget counting hours. I’ll send as many needed to get it right. We want you happy and to use us again.”
And she did.
In fact, she sent a team of 6 who spent 8 hours cleaning every corner and rearranging every area.
It was amazing because most of the competition goes through the motions.
But her team worked together to get the job done right.
The first time.
To be honest, on a regular per hour basis, a team of 6 at our place for 8 hours made the fee I paid cheaper than most of the competition.
Does that mean it was a loss for Mitch Martina?
Not at all.
You see France understood a concept I talk about in End Burnout and Fall in Love with your Business again.
It’s the concept of Present Bank and Future Bank that I learned from Dan Kennedy.
The idea that interactions or transactions you do with a customer should be structured so it not only helps pay you today but also in the future.
France wasn’t only talking about the deep clean.
She was talking to me about starting weekly cleanings with me and telling me the deep clean will reinforce how good they are.
And she was right.
We will sign and do weekly cleanings with them and probably a deep clean here or there.
Why?
Because the investment she made in getting us on board and doing such an excellent job… the first time.
So the Deep clean paid them today… and will also pay them tomorrow and every week thereafter on a recurring basis.
