“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.” (Matthew 7:6)
This biblical reference should be top of mind for every entrepreneur every time we decide with whom we will conduct business.
Jane was a struggling social media entrepreneur.
Her days were consumed mostly by a PIA customer (I don’t need to tell you what that stands for except the first word is pain and last word ends in ss)
This customer took up nearly 70% of her time with constant complaints and calls and messages at all times of the day.
And abuse when she didn’t answer back fast enough.
She came to me and after asking just three simple questions, she knew exactly what to do.
- How profitable is this client?
- How many hours is he taking away from you servicing existing or getting new ones?
- How many clients would it take to replace him and how long would it take?
After answering these questions, she realised she had to stop giving her “pearls” to this client and fired him immediately.
It took a couple of weeks but the time she freed allowed her to bring on 3 much better and more suitable clients.
Who paid more…. Complained less..
And her business took off.
But first she also did something else very important.. which I’ll talk about tomorrow.

P.S. I work with small business owners who started the business to have a better life, only to find themselves falling short and then getting frustrated by the broken promises and lack of results when they sought help elsewhere.
That’s when they find me and I show them exactly what path to take when investing their time and money in their business, so they can live the life they want.
