Yesterday I shared the story of a business owner chasing the wrong solution — dumping money into getting more customers…
…when what he really needed was better ones.
Even worse — the clients he was attracting?
Total PITAs. (You know what that stands for.)
Let’s call him Earl.
Earl had psyched himself out.
First by commoditising his own offer.
Then by obsessing over what the competition was charging.
So what did he do?
He dropped his prices.
He didn’t just lose revenue — he murdered his margins.
The money he should’ve been using to grow — marketing, hiring, improving service — was instead being burned on discounts for deadbeats.
He was running faster on the treadmill…
For less money.
And more distance from his wife.
Adding more discount zombie clients would’ve only made the nightmare worse.
So we took a step back.
And I helped Earl look at his business from a different point of view.
No hype. No fluff.
And then… the lightbulb went off.
He knew what had to change.
And no — it wasn’t “work harder,” “throw more money at ads,” or “hire like crazy.”
It was something far more effective…
And tomorrow, I’ll tell you more about it.

I’m the “make your business valuable” guy—so you can start living your best life now and exit on your own terms later.
