I was in a rush this morning

Drop off the kids, go to the gym, and start my day.

So I grabbed my workout shirt… but from the wrong pile.

By the time I put it one and realised it… it was too late.

And so now I smelled like a rear end of a mule that ate a very bad batch of curry.

Although hot outside I had to roll down the window to spare my family in the car.

When I got to the gym.. I prayed it would be empty …

It wasn’t.

Every rep was punishment.

Every breath was an assault.

When I finally hit the showers, I’ve never been so grateful to smell like nothing.

So what does this have to do with your business?

Well…sometimes when I meet 7- and 8-figure business owners, I often catch a similar stench.

It’s not the revenue.

It’s not the profits.

It’s the dependency.

Too reliant on the owner.

Too dependent on one client, supplier, or key employee.

A stench that overwhelms the successful companies they built from scratch

So what happens when our owner finally decide to sell?

They discover it reeks of risk and weak transferability.

By then… it’s too late to clean it up.

Buyers walk. Value plummets.

And a profitable business becomes a regrettable mess.
