It is my birthday today.
Not a particularly grand milestone. I am into my 56th year, or if you prefer, my 2,912th Tuesday on this planet.
And yes, I have watched the waistline creep out and the nights out grow rare.
But nobody warns you about the best part of getting older. It is not what you lose, it is what you pick up along the way, the perspective, the scars, the experience.
I cannot run as fast as I used to. But I can make connections now that would have spun the head of my 26 year old self.
And two of those are about to land, both within the next 30 days.
The first is End Burnout, Fall in Love with Your Business. It is finally finished, all four modules, with dozens of tools and templates to go with it. Put simply, it is how you fall back in love with your business, by turning it into something that is better to run and worth far more to sell.
The second comes from a connection I made this year, and a partnership I am genuinely excited about. He comes from my world, the world of helping owners build real value and real freedom into their businesses. And he has built something remarkable, a system that changes the way owners make decisions inside their companies.
