I’m back at the outdoor café on a perfect 25°C morning — the same place the PigeonWaffe dive-bombed me last week.
This time I made an adjustment.
I picked the table furthest from any ledges, right under a row of thin string lights too flimsy for these flying dinosaurs to land on.
Can I still get sh*t on?
Yeah.
Is it likely?
Not really.
And if it happens?
I’ll shower again, change, and next time demand a giant umbrella.
In other words:
Improvise → change the system → create a predictable outcome.
How often do you do that in your business?
How predictable are your revenues?
Do you know what you’re getting next month?
Or do you wake up hunting and praying it will all somehow work out?
Most owners sit at the same table — under the same conditions — and “hope” not to get splattered again.
That isn’t strategy.
That’s superstition.
Me?
I said my morning prayers where they actually belong… walked the dog… changed my environment… and now I’m sitting here working peacefully.
Not because I got lucky.
Because I chose the conditions that give me the outcome I want.
Can you say that about your business?
